Title: Let It Snow
Post by: Celedh on January 08, 2017, 09:28:24 PM
(http://theunoriginalcomic.overminddl1.com/images/Celedhbutton.png)So lots of the US got snow last week and this weekend, including parts that barely know what snow is usually.

We Canadians laugh at the chaos it does.

Oh don't misunderstand, I understand perfectly. The people down south don't have the equipment for it, the tires are not made for that kind or grip or freezing temperature and become blocks of slippery ice. There's no shoveling or snowploughs and whatever we up north take for granted.

It doesn't mean the comparison is no less amusing though. It's basically like people in Nevada complaining about heat and people from the Sahara going 'Bitch please'. Different parts of the world, different situations. Let's ask Siberia how they like our winters.

Ah, my nemesis... snow... I grew up in a town very close to one that gets an average over 100 inches (254 cm) a winter season. I now live west of there that's closer to 60 inches a season.
