One of them I literally had no idea how to make a crafting table to start things off, I couldn't punch the trees after all, and I had no tools in hand. So there was probably something I had to do, but pass. Too many of these modpacks had been updated to either a new version that noone has made guides for (like Forever Stranded), or someone tried to update the different mods and didn't double-check if it broke anything (spent way too much time on a broken Crash Landing that wouldn't allow me to create water, trying to figure out what I was doing wrong). Or again it didn't match guides online and it was hard to follow what they were saying when several details weren't working the same anymore. It wasted time for a weekend though, I wasn't feeling up to doing much otherwise. |
