Of course, Megs the otaku translates the Technobabble that Dr. Light spouts off. Why does Dr. Light talk like this? Well, one of the jokes in Bob and George is that Dr. Light "swears" by going "Oh, fornicating feces". So I took it to the extreme and had everything he says be indecipherable technobabble. Meanwhile, Dr. Light works on a pad capable of withstanding the force of a combat android jumping and dancing. Mmm. DDR pad. ...yeah, I'm stretching for comments here.

A high enough scream could hurt even an android's "ears". At this point, I'm still working out how to do proper talking-mouths. No Comment Made.

"omfg a background" actually became an in-joke with another friend of mine. And, to quote the last panel, "I won't do this again". ^_^ This is also where we start to see Zero's l33t sk33lz. See? He stole the sword as Dante was drawing it, without Dante noticing! ZOMG! He never did a background, honestly. I do those now.

Ah, the first drunken karaoke strip. It's hard to see, but Bass is actually holding that "camera". Why this particular song? Couldn't think of a better song for three smashed guys singing drunken karaoke to be bellowing out. Drunken Karaoke... fun.

A "What If" comic by Kildarre - the aforementioned pose-before-DDR friend. This foreshadows the eventual Dante-and-Roll-get-together mini-arc. It may yet be added to Guest Strip archive - if so, it will be replaced with something even more bizarrely inexplicable. (Forty-two!) No Comment Made.

My first guest comic, courtesy of Cyber himself; I now consider this an actual part of the TUC series, since, y'know, we co-author it now. ^_^ I originally made this as an attempt to bring back TOC, but with random humor, instead of a storyline... I pumped out maybe... 7 of these before we started co-authoring. Tunod just HAD to get Pi in here.

The mask, and the introduction of Proto Man. I haven't nailed down much of a personality for him, other than "Jerk", I think. Ah, the Ninja Rope... another staple of the early on comics, as well.

Sometimes the wordless or near-wordless jokes are the best. ^^ No Comment Made

You may already have noticed, but I mercilessly abuse the "Panel of Silence" type jokes. What can I say? I like them. It just amuses me to think of Zero sitting there going "...WTF." Amusingly, a friend of mine picked this up and for a while, whenever he went to play DDR, he would strike a pose and say "I'm going... to PLAY some DDR!!" No Comment Made

And the Cool Poses start becoming a staple. Megs is also now becoming a bad influence on Dante. Foreshadowing~ Haha

And here we have perhaps the signature joke of The Unoriginal Comic: The Mask. Somewhat like the "Wily Exposits While Someone Listens" joke from Bob and George. I deliberately placed that second-panel text box to hide Bass's face. Ain't I clever? No Comment Made

Ladies and gentlemen, meet Roll, probably the most kinky bot ever. This is probably one of my favorite early-on jokes. ...Now that I think about it, why /DID/ a plump old guy like Dr. Light build a young-looking robot with a nymphomania streak a mile wide? ...Oh god, EW EW EW EW EW EW EW. I'm... not... no... not going there. *cough*

The original text for this "One inch closer to my sword and Megs here gets himself a shiny new X buster." But more than half my audience didn't know much about Mega Man at the time, so I went back and edited it - one of my rare retroactive alterations. This is also the origin of the "X: Ninja in training" plot thread. Not to mention it's the first "Silent 'look behind you!'" joke. As a MGS baddie would say... !

My first fight comic. Also shows off the style I've pretty much stuck to ever since. I actually think I did it all right. No Comment Made

Ah yes, the origin of DDR in the comic. I'm actually pretty fond of DDR in real life, though I probably don't play as much as I should. Definitely don't play as much as I used to. Also the origin of Crappy TUC MSPaint Furniture tm, And the beginnings of the Dante/Megs Stylish Asskicker Team. ...You have to admit, though, a fully-featured combat android with armor would be pretty damn heavy. Haha, this one was great. First time I'd seen DDR used in a sprite comic. Yanno, for an "unoriginal" comic, we have alot of original content... Hmmm...
