Hi, this is my first post, and I am wondering where I can get sprites like the author beam in TUC.

Hi, this is my first post, and I am wondering where I can get sprites like the author beam in TUC.
The Author Beam(s) sprites came from various games, mostly Street Fighter and such. A good sprite resource is Sprites Inc. (http://sprites.planet-megaman.com/) for Megaman sprites, and The People's Sprites (http://www.panelmonkey.org/) and The Spriters Resource (http://sprites.fireball20xl.com/) for lots of different types. Hope this helps!
As a side note, Tunod and I will never *ever* give our sprites out for public use. Alot of customs are in our sheets, and well, I'm rather protective of them. If you wanna use sprites for, say... Pi, Sarab, Cyber or Koriander, you will have to pull them from the comics themselves. I'm sorry.

No one wants to see another Cyber or Tunod on another sprite based comic. That's just %$#*ed up. I am curious about Seraya's sprite though. Is she custom made or was she off of a game? The same with DA, what game did she come from?

I don't know where DA came from, but Ser's sprite is a recolor of Ciel from the RockMan Zero series.

DA's sprite is a recolor of some random fighting-schoolgirl sprite thing I found in the old Fireball20XL.com sprite archive.

I don't have it anymore. It came from an RPGMaker2000 sprite sheet.

Right the annoying side vice the evil side. I keep forgetting that I cannot distinguish between the two. They are both equally disgusting and distasteful.

We're, uh, not here to cater to your every whim, dude. If you want to learn, grab a couple spritesheets, find one of the many good tutorials on the web, and go from there.

'http://www.bobandgeorge.com/Other/Guides/Spritecomics.html', I read the guide few times, and learned to do the recolor! I did the recolor on my Final Fantasy WS Sprite, Thief, and once i master the 'sprite recolor technique', I might try mastering the 'Custom Sprite Making' Technique.

If you can't take the time to spell right, Chances are you don't have the patience to sprite. =P
